**New in ExecutableItems: armor sets (Premium).** Give bonuses to players who wear several of your items together: 2 pieces for a first bonus, 4 pieces for a stronger one, and so on. One file per set in `plugins/ExecutableItems/sets/`, with potion effects, attributes (extra hearts, armor...) and commands for each tier. The bonus comes the moment the last piece is put on and leaves the moment one is taken off, dropped, broken or lost on death, with no LOOP running in the background. Placeholders `%executableitems_set_<id>%` and `%executableitems_set_<id>_tier%`, and `/ei sets [player]` to see what a player wears.
Try it with the new default set **Tempest** (1.21+): four armor pieces and a trident. Throw the trident and its bonus leaves with it until it comes back. It comes with the default items (new servers, or `/ei default_items`). Guide: docs.ssomar.com, *Sets (bonus by pieces worn)*.
**Also new**
- **ExecutableItems**: `/ei trigger <player> <item> <activator>` runs one activator without doing the gesture, to test a config quickly. Conditions, cooldowns and usage apply as usual.
- **ExecutableItems**: on 1.21+, items without attributes of their own lose the damage / armor of their material unless *Keep default attributes* is on. EI now lists these items in the console after each load, with the command that fixes them all. Nothing changes in how they behave. The default items that had this problem are fixed for new installs.
**Fixes**
- **ExecutableItems**: a `/ei give` (from a player, a shop, a crate...) during `/ei reload` no longer gives nothing: the items stay usable while they reload.
- **ExecutableBlocks**: heads and torches placed by an EB (and by `SETEXECUTABLEBLOCK`) are no longer stuck to the side of the block. Thanks to **requeim**.
- **ExecutableItems**: an item upgraded at the smithing table (diamond to netherite) now gets the netherite stats instead of keeping the diamond ones. Your own attributes on the item are kept. Thanks to **KoizumiPlays**.
- **ExecutableItems**: on 1.14 to 1.19, every player death printed an error in the console, and *keep item on death* did not work. Fixed.
- **ExecutableItems**: a LOOP activator whose condition is not met no longer sends the default "invalid condition" message to the player every cycle. Your custom condition messages are still sent.
- **ExecutableItems**: an F-key activator (`PLAYER_SWAPHAND_THE_EI`) with `cancelEvent` now keeps the variables it changes.
- **ExecutableEvents**: `targetEntityCommands` of `PLAYER_FISH_FISH` (`CHANGE_INTO_ITEM`, `KILL`...) now act on the fish you catch.
- **SCore**: an empty line in `globalSilenceOutputs` no longer silences the whole console. It is ignored, with a warning. Thanks to **Chamogelastos**.
Nothing changes in your configs: sets do nothing until you add a file in `sets/`. If something looks wrong after updating, open a post in the bug channel.
**Bug fixes from your reports.** Thanks to **dylyboo**, **yuiso.**, **1ckn** and **cursepharaoh** for the logs and the details.
**Fixes**
- **MyFurniture on Paper 26.3**: the packet library used by MyFurniture did not know 26.3 yet, so every attempt to show the collision boxes failed: thousands of error lines per hour, lag, and furniture you could walk through. MyFurniture now loads a 26.3-compatible build, and if a Minecraft version is ever not supported, it says it once and disables the collision boxes instead of flooding the console.
- **ExecutableItems**: custom models (Nexo, ItemsAdder...) on non-leather armor no longer turn invisible: `/ei create` lost the dye color they need. The **Armor color** option is now available on every armor piece and elytra (Paper 1.21.3+), and the import keeps it.
- **SCore**: no more console spam and TPS drops with `MOB_AROUND` and an entity list that uses NBT tags: a tag the server cannot read simply does not match, instead of an error on every entity.
- **SCore**: `/score run-block-command` now resolves `%block%`, `%block_lower%`, `%block_x%`... instead of printing the placeholder text.
- **SCore**: mass saves are faster. Importing a MyFurniture pack or saving many items could freeze the server for a few seconds; the sound list is now prepared once.
Nothing changes in your configs. If something looks wrong after updating, open a post in the bug channel.
**New features asked by the community, and a few bug fixes.** Thanks to **dinobossyt**, **yuiso.**, **drfrostx**, **themirinto** and **darklionqc** for their ideas and reports.
**New**
- **Item preview in the editors**: in `/ei editor` (and the other editors), the icon of each item now shows its name, lore, enchantments and attributes. You can check your items without opening them one by one. It can be turned off with `editorIconPreview: false` in the SCore config.
- **Custom fishing loot**: the new command `CHANGE_INTO_ITEM` turns what a player catches with a fishing rod into any item or ExecutableItem, with the normal fishing animation. A full guide is on the wiki ("Custom fishing loot").
- **Gradient names and anvils**: an ExecutableItem that is enchanted or repaired in an anvil keeps its colored / gradient name. If the player types a new name, the item is renamed like in vanilla. Option `keepNameInAnvil` in the ExecutableItems config, enabled by default.
**Fixes**
- **ExecutableCrafting**: the vanilla **Crafter** block ignored the amounts of your custom recipes (a recipe asking for 32 items could be crafted with 1). It now respects amounts and conditions. It can be turned off with `enableCrafterBlockSupport: false`.
- **SCore**: a server with SCore, Multiverse-Core and Iris installed together could refuse to start (`Circular plugin loading detected`). Fixed.
- **SCore**: world conditions no longer show an error for a Multiverse world that is loaded after the plugins.
- **SCore**: no more error in the console when the server stops, on servers that use Geyser.
- **ExecutableItems**: several default items were repaired (`Prem_Grass_Cutter`, `Prem_Firework`, the Morph tools...). Your existing files are not modified: delete a default item file to get the repaired version.
Nothing changes in your configs. If something looks wrong after updating, open a post in the bug channel.
**Minecraft 26.3 is supported!** This update also fixes a few bugs. Thanks to **vinrey123** and **psystorm** for their reports and for testing the fixes before release.
**All plugins**
- Added support for **Minecraft 26.3**. Please update SCore and your plugins together before moving your server to 26.3: older versions do not load items correctly on 26.3.
- The plugins are now ready for the next Minecraft versions too: a brand new version will no longer break item loading while you wait for an update.
**ExecutableBlocks**
- Fixed a duplication bug on Minecraft 26.x: breaking an ExecutableBlock that is a container (hopper, barrel, chest...) dropped its content twice.
- If DecentHolograms is installed but does not work on your Minecraft version, block titles now use the built-in display instead of showing errors in the console.
**ExecutableItems**
- Tool rules: using crops like `POTATO`, `CARROT` or the `ALL_CROPS` group no longer breaks the item. Before, `/ei give` and `/ei editor` showed an error for these items.
- Two messages of the English language file were broken and are now repaired automatically.
**SCore**
- When a condition has a mistake in your config, the console now clearly tells you that this condition is ignored and which item and activator are concerned, so you can fix it quickly.
**Good to know for 26.3**
- MyFurniture works on 26.3, but its packet-based extras are paused until PacketEvents releases its 26.3 version.
- DecentHolograms does not support 26.3 yet. Block titles keep working with the built-in display.
Nothing changes in your configs. If something looks wrong after updating, open a post in the bug channel.
A small update with bug fixes. Thanks to **requeim** for a very precise report, and to **Lunar** for sharing the notes from his own servers once again!
**ExecutableBlocks**
- Block titles are much lighter when you use **DecentHolograms**: they are now updated instead of being deleted and created again every few seconds. Big servers with many blocks should feel the difference.
**ExecutableItems**
- An item that cannot be dropped could disappear when your inventory was full. It now falls on the ground instead of being lost.
**All plugins (SCore)**
- An activator with a wrong `option:` name (a typo) no longer runs as a click activator. It is now turned off, and the console suggests the right name.
- Placeholder conditions are more flexible: you can compare with a player placeholder like `%player%`, and use small calculations like `%player_y%-0.2`.
- The "can break the targeted block" condition now checks the block you actually broke or clicked.
- `%block_item_material%` now works on more blocks, like wall torches, wall signs and flower pots.
Nothing changes in your configs. If something looks wrong after updating, open a post in the bug channel.
This update fixes a set of bugs reported on our Discord and adds two new options.
**ExecutableItems**
- The message shown when you receive an item now displays the real item name, with the usage counter and the other placeholders filled in.
- Item lore can now use MiniMessage on Paper and its forks. A lore line that starts with `<` is read as MiniMessage, the other lines keep the usual `&` colors, so both styles can live in the same item. Items that do not use MiniMessage are untouched.
**ExecutableCrafting**
- Anvil recipes now run their commands. The player commands were never executed, and the item commands had no effect on the item you received.
- A recipe with an empty result no longer breaks the recipe list or the editor.
- New: a recipe can be turned off without deleting it. The Enabled toggle in the recipe editor makes it impossible to craft and removes it from the recipe book after a reload.
**ExecutableEvents**
- The disabled worlds setting is now respected everywhere. Many activators, such as a mob targeting a player and most entity and block events, used to fire in every world whatever the setting said.
**SCore**
- Opening an item list with `/ei show` no longer freezes the server. Every icon was rebuilt from scratch on every page; they are now kept until you edit the object.
- Nested conditions behave correctly. `IF a IF b command1 <+> command2` used to run `command2` even when the inner condition was false.
- A condition no longer removes the spaces inside a placeholder, so comparing a text that contains spaces finally matches.
- A variable read inside an entity command now uses the right player. A per-player variable always returned its default value there.
- Block titles no longer spam errors on Folia servers. Nothing changes on Paper and Spigot.
The rest of the suite is republished with the new SCore inside it, with no change of its own.
Thanks to everyone who reported these. If something looks wrong after updating, open a post in the bug channel.
A bug-fix update, built from your reports of the last two weeks. Nothing changes in your configs: update and restart.
What's fixed:
- ExecutableBlocks runs much lighter on big servers. Every step a player took made the plugin look at all the placed blocks of the server. With thousands of blocks and lots of players, that was eating your TPS. It now only looks around the player.
- ExecutableBlocks: deleted blocks stay deleted. After /eb delete, the placed copies of a block could keep working until the next restart. Not anymore.
- ExecutableItems: the "Cancel Place in Bundle" restriction can't be bypassed anymore. Picking up an empty bundle first and then clicking the item slipped through the restriction.
- MyFurniture works on Paper 26.2 out of the box. It could fail to start on the latest Paper when the PacketEvents plugin wasn't installed. It now takes care of it by itself.
- SCore: equipment visuals fixed, EQUIPMENT_VISUAL_CANCEL and EQUIPMENT_VISUAL_REPLACE work again.
- SCore: INLINE_MINEINCUBE respects its "drop" setting, blocks no longer drop items when you told the command not to.
Update SCore first, the other plugins ship with it.
Thanks to Requeim, Chub, Markox and thecashfire for the reports and the tests, and to Special70 for the SCore fixes.
SCore (All plugins)
Fixed an issue with GetItem where the if statement didn't have a colon symbol, making any material with "IA" in them such as "DIAMOND_BLOCK" for example to be mistaken as an ItemsAdder item
Added extra 2 tick delay for the reset mechanic when EQUIPMENT_VISUAL_REPLACE disguise runs out to fix an issue where the reset mechanic runs too soon.
Detailed explanation: Previous tests observed that this issue does not happen if the disguise is <10 ticks but is more likely to occur in >=20 ticks. What this issue does is that the reset mechanic of the logic runs too soon causing to have the last 1-2 disguise tasks to execute with no reset mechanic task to undo the disguise, causing it to persist until updates occur on the target slot.
Added extra logic to the EQUIPMENT_VISUAL_CANCEL to properly undo the disguise by utilizing the logic used by EQUIPMENT_VISUAL_REPLACE to resend packets towards all players showing the right equipment again
SCore (All plugins)
Fixes:
- No more error spam in the console when you use delayed commands. Commands with a delay (DELAYTICK, DELAY, …) could flood the console with errors when players joined or left, especially on Folia.
- Block commands work again when no player is involved. A block that runs commands on its own — LOOP activator, redstone trigger… — could throw an error instead of doing its job. SET_TEMP_BLOCK_POS now places its block correctly, same fix on PLANT_IN_SQUARE, MINE_IN_CUBE, INLINE_MINE_IN_CUBE.
New:
- whitelistCurrentBlock on SET_BLOCK / SET_BLOCK_POS — restrict which blocks they may replace, comme SET_TEMP_BLOCK_POS : SET_BLOCK material:GOLD_BLOCK whitelistCurrentBlock:SAND,DIRT.
ExecutableEvents
No more error spam caused by mobs choosing (or losing) a target.
Potion effects no longer spam errors on 1.21.8 and older servers.
MyFurniture
/mf place works from the console.
## SCore
### Fixes
* **`IllegalStateException: zip file closed` spam** from the global activator task
(`ActivatorEIFeature.activateOptionGlobal`) — race with classloader/reload during
server reload. `831a26fd` (companion fix `ExecutableItems@d754388e`).
* **Nested SCore variable placeholders** (`%score_variables_X_{score_variables_Y}%`)
now resolve correctly instead of breaking on the inner placeholder. `eb0170a4`.
* **Folia — Block Title hologram spam** (`IllegalStateException`, auto-update entity
calls off the owning region thread) — `remove()` is now Folia-safe. `b082215a`.
Partial: `spawn()`/`update()` keep their synchronous contract; if the spam
persists after this release it needs a follow-up (see note in the commit).
* **`distance:` argument ignored on the `AROUND` selector inside `blockCommands`**
(worked already for regular commands) — `3b5d222b`.
## ExecutableItems
### Fixes
* **"Cancel Place in Bundle" restriction bypassable via drag-and-drop** — was only
enforced on inventory-click deposits, not drag deposits. `83e7e6a3`.
* **TPS drop opening/closing chests containing ExecutableItems**
## ExecutableBlocks
### Fixes
* **Folia — Block Title hologram spam** — ships the SCore Folia fix above via a
refreshed bundled `SCore.jar` (the previously vendored jar predated the fix).
Same partial-fix caveat as SCore.
## MyFurniture
### Fixes
* **Crash/error when the `PLAYER_BREAK` activator has commands configured** —
re-entrant furniture removal during command execution. `c84db9d`.
