Hey,

This update brings custom tridents, S3 resource-pack hosting, WorldEdit support for furniture, and a few fixes. It also adds experimental support for syncing resources via Oraxen Studio.

Custom tridents now support configurable handheld, charging, and thrown models with display transforms and custom sounds, while keeping vanilla physics, durability, pickup, and enchantments. Resource packs can also be hosted on any S3-compatible service with configurable endpoints, credentials, and public, CDN, or presigned download URLs.

Editing furniture with WorldEdit or FAWE now cleanly removes its models, barriers, seats, interactions, lights, and text displays, and //undo restores the furniture along with its storage and evolution data. Display entity and armor stand settings have also been merged into a single furniture.properties section with automatic migration.

Several fixes cover custom door drops when the supporting block is broken, self-hosted pack downloads and port leaks on reload, /oraxen remove-defaults preserving GUI navigation icons, current Iris compatibility, chained furniture template inheritance, clearer glyph ascent warnings, and deterministic schema generation.

Big thanks to @pxlarified for the new features and fixes. If you hit any issue, please let me know.

Enjoy, Thomas
Hi everyone,

This update brings Minecraft 26.3 support, configurable click events for blocks and furniture, more flexible area mining, and new in-game recipe builders.

Blocks and furniture can now run commands and messages on left or right clicks, with conditions for each action. Furniture also has a configurable breakable option. Dropped items can have a colored glow and protection from selected damage causes.

Smithing, anvil, and grindstone recipes can now be created in game. Administrators can also receive configurable notifications when a new release is available.

Several fixes cover legacy configuration migrations, animated glyphs on signs, furniture text, backpack cosmetics, recipe builders, and resource-pack compatibility for older clients. Area mining now respects cancelled block breaks and stays within the player’s region on Folia.

Please note that ProtocolLib support has been removed. Built-in packet handling works on Minecraft 1.21.2 and newer; older supported versions still require PacketEvents.

Big thanks to Jan for the new features and careful fixes. If you hit any issue, please let me know.

Enjoy, Thomas
Hi everyone,

This update is a small hotfix after 1.219.0. It adds death protection items on newer Paper, stops custom noteblock stacks from flickering, and keeps furniture names when you pick them back up.

Features:
It adds a death protection item component on Paper 1.21.2+, and an optional local readable pack export that stays off unless you turn it on.

Fixes:
Custom noteblock stacks no longer flicker when you mine or place blocks next to them. Furniture keeps its name after pickup, written books open again, auto-crafters respect vanilla-recipe restrictions, and totems keep their default save-on-death if you did not configure a custom death protection.
Big thanks to Jan for the hotfix work. If you hit any issue, please let me know.
Hi everyone,

This update brings custom workstation recipes, backpack item blocking, Silk Touch loot filters, and a large Folia and command cleanup. The inventory menu icons and the first-run intro also look correct again on current chat.

Features:
- Smithing tables, cauldrons, anvils, and grindstones can use Oraxen recipes
- Recipe book grouping
- Backpack denylist for configured items and colored shulker boxes
- Silk Touch required, forbidden, or unchanged on custom block drops

Fixes:
- Inventory previous, next, and exit icons no longer show as paper
- First-run intro no longer wraps into strikethrough lines
- Furniture seats, custom blocks, anvils, glyphs, and Folia thread access
TextEffects, shader custom armor, PackSlicer, and WorldEdit block integration are gone. Inventory settings now live under inventory-menu and migrate automatically.

Big thanks to Jan and Olivier for the work in this update. If you hit any issue, please let me know.

Enjoy,
Thomas

Hi everyone,

This update brings more flexible resource-pack delivery, hot-reloadable custom jukebox discs, improved Java 21 and Java 25 compatibility, and a new %oraxen_hash% placeholder for accessing the active resource-pack hash.
Resource packs can now be sent before or after players join, with configurable timeouts and client-version filtering. Existing dispatch settings are migrated automatically.
It also fixes multi-version packs on Minecraft 1.21.3 and older, pre-join pack delivery, HUD state and reload issues, custom block mining sounds and drops, backpack interactions, furniture behavior, command completions, model textures, language overrides, anvil formatting, and custom jukebox reloads on Folia.
Big thanks to Jan and fenjastical for their work on this release. If you hit any issue, please let me know.

Enjoy,
Thomas

Fixes the wrong build file
:)
Hey,

Here is a quick fix for the jar file so it includes the missing resources.

Best,

Hi everyone,

This update brings Minecraft 26.2 support and restores compatibility with legacy 1.20.1 servers. It also adds custom paintings loaded from config with hot reload, a unified `/oraxen info` command, configurable block break durability, configurable client-version filtering for resource pack dispatch, and broader protection plugin compatibility through AntiGriefLib (covering 25+ plugins including GriefDefender, GriefPrevention, and UltimateClaims). Many reliability fixes land across commands, packs, recipes, backpacks, and block interactions. Spigot server support has been removed, so Paper or a Paper-compatible fork is now required.

Big thanks to Jan (pxlarified) for the original v1.217.0 work and the pack and painting compatibility fixes.

If you hit any issue, please let me know.

Enjoy,
Thomas

Hey,

Last update introduced a breaking change in the way blocks are handled in Oraxen (a single block mechanic in mechanics.yml). Unfortunately there was a bug in the config migration which could cause blocks to not render properly using older configurations.

This update fixes it, thanks to Jan for his reactivity
:)

Have fun.
Thomas
Hi everyone,

This update brings the new unified custom block mechanic, custom paintings, expanded shaped block support, and many fixes across blocks, packs, commands, recipes and startup compatibility.

Features: It adds a unified custom block system with legacy config migration, broader shaped block and custom painting support, new block events and placement controls, expanded ItemUpdater reload coverage, and Lobfile pack hosting.

Fixes:
Several shaped block break/drop/light issues, block migration, command fallback and Folia edge cases were resolved, along with pack resend, shader, recipe, sound, startup and generated-pack reliability problems.

Big thanks to Jan for the huge block-mechanic work and careful fixes. If you hit any issue, please let me know.

Enjoy,
Thomas
